Switch tracks

For donuts, hold throttle and a steering direction. First, second, and third can keep the rear tires spinning. Tap Shift with the throttle on to shift up through the slide. Straighten or countersteer to drive out; hold Shift for 1.2 seconds to return to automatic. Fast turns near walls, trees, and parked cars get extra grip when you steer away from them. Hold the handbrake to override it. Hard hits crumple the car briefly, then unfold it and roll you back into play. A gamepad works too: left stick, triggers, and A for the handbrake.
